Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026.

1. General Overview and Zero Data Collection

The developer of the Streaming Remote extension and its associated website (NG Dev) is committed to the maximum protection of user privacy. The software follows the 'Zero Data Collection' principle: during the operation of the extension code and the remote control interface, it does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, network traffic, or telemetry data to external servers.

2. Local Storage

To improve the user experience, the website and the remote control interface use the browser's local storage (Local Storage). Only the selected language code (e.g., "hu", "en") is saved here, ensuring that the website appears in the preferred language upon the next visit. This information is stored exclusively on the user's own device, is inaccessible to third parties, and never leaves the local system.

3. Network Communication (WebRTC)

Command transmission between the mobile phone and the desktop browser takes place directly through the local network using peer-to-peer (WebRTC) technology, without external relay servers. Unique identifiers (Peer ID) and temporary network data required to establish the connection exist only in the browsers' memory for the duration of the process. They are not logged, saved, or stored in log files anywhere.

4. Hosting Provider and Store Statistics

The website is hosted by Cloudflare Inc. on its secure global Edge network, which may process technical, anonymized server logs to ensure network stability, DDoS protection, and security. In addition, the internal store analytics system of the Chrome Web Store (Google Analytics integration on the Store interface) collects aggregated, completely anonymous statistics regarding store page views and the number of downloads. Individual users cannot be identified from this data; the developer only sees the statistics in an aggregated format.

5. Required Permissions

The extension requests only those technical permissions from the browser (in accordance with the Manifest V3 standard) that are absolutely essential for implementing remote control (detecting the active tab, passing media commands). No data collection takes place under these permissions.

6. Contact and Data Controller

The data controller of the project is Gergő Nagy (NG Dev). If you have any questions or remarks regarding the operation or this current policy, you can reach the developer directly at the following dedicated developer email address:
